Ascend

Terms of Use

Draft · not yet in force · last edited 6 September 2026

This is a draft, not legal advice. It was written as a starting point for a qualified solicitor to review and correct before Ascend accepts any real funds. Do not rely on it as it stands.

1. What Ascend is

Ascend is a web interface to a set of smart contracts deployed on Robinhood Chain. The contracts let anyone create a token, trade it against a bonding curve, and, if enough is raised, move that liquidity into a decentralised exchange pool that is then locked permanently.

Ascend does not hold your funds, take custody of your tokens, or execute trades on your behalf. Every action is a transaction you sign from your own wallet, sent directly to contracts we do not control once deployed.

2. Who may use it

You may not use Ascend if you are:

The full list of restricted countries, with the reason for each, is on our compliance page.

We block access from these places by IP address. That check is imperfect. Using a VPN or any other means to get round it is a breach of these terms, and doing so does not make your use lawful where you are.

3. No advice, no promises

Nothing on Ascend is investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation. We do not review, endorse or vet any token launched through the contracts. Anyone can create one, name it anything, and say anything about it.

Most tokens launched on any launchpad lose most of their value. Assume you may lose everything you put in.

4. Fees

A fee is charged on each trade by the contracts themselves, split between the token's creator and the protocol. The current rate is shown in the interface before you confirm any transaction. There is also a small fixed fee to create a token. Network gas is separate and paid to validators, not to us.

5. Token creators

If you create a token you are responsible for what you launch: its name, its image, its description, and anything you say about it. Do not launch anything that infringes a trademark, impersonates a person or organisation, is illegal where you are, or is designed to deceive buyers.

We may remove a token from our interface at our discretion. We cannot remove it from the blockchain, and it will remain tradeable elsewhere.

6. Risks you accept

7. Liability

Ascend is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the interface or the contracts, including loss of funds, loss of profit, or the actions of any token creator or other user.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Continuing to use Ascend after a change means you accept the new version. The date at the top shows when this was last edited.
