What we collect
Very little, because the product does not need much.
- Your country, from your IP address. Read at the edge on each request to apply the access restrictions in our terms. It is used for that check and not stored by us.
- Standard server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
- Images you upload. A token image you add is stored publicly so it can be shown beside the token. Once uploaded, treat it as public and permanent.
- Local storage in your browser. Cached lists of launches so pages load faster. It stays on your device and we cannot read it.
What we do not collect
- No account, no email address, no password. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No name, address or identity documents. We do not run identity checks.
- No analytics or advertising trackers, and no third-party cookies.
- We never see or hold your private key or seed phrase. Your wallet signs everything; we only receive what it chooses to send.
Your wallet address
Connecting a wallet shares your public address with the site so it can show your balance and your positions. That address is already public on the blockchain, along with every transaction it has ever made. We do not link it to any other information about you, because we hold none.
The blockchain is not private
Anything you do through Ascend is a public transaction on Robinhood Chain. It is permanent, visible to anyone, and cannot be deleted or corrected by us or by you. That is how the chain works, not a choice we made.
Who else is involved
- Vercel hosts the site and stores uploaded images.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
- Public RPC endpoints for Robinhood Chain receive the read requests your browser makes to fetch on-chain data.
- Robinhood's public asset list is fetched to populate the tokenized-stock pairing options.
Each of these has its own privacy terms, which we do not control.
Your rights
Where data-protection law gives you rights over personal data, they apply to what we actually hold, which is close to nothing. We cannot delete anything from the blockchain, remove a transaction, or alter a token once created, because none of that is ours to change.
